Madeira Island Coasteering - Adventures in Madeira Ocean

Madeira Coastering is suitable to all ages and takes place in the warm waters of the atlantic ocean that surround Madeira island, encompassing movement along the intertidal zone on one of the most beautiful rocky coastlines of Madeira Island, several techniques are used to overcome the tour whether on foot, swimming, jumping, climbing it’s all on you, no boats, surf boards or other craft.

We provide pick-up/drop off between Canico and Funchal**.

After getting ready with wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and shoes, accessing the conditions and a safety briefing, we'll walk down to the water's edge and start our route exploring the Coastline, amazing cliffs, rock formations, clear ocean waters and learning about the marine environment and some local traditions.

You'll be swimming in the crystal clear waters snorkelling is included as well..climbing and walking along the rocky shoreline and doing some cliff jumping!
