Funchal Car Hire - Terms

High Season

HIGH SEASON – Carnival Season ,Easter, Flower Festival and during the month of August and between Christmas and the New Year.

Airport Service

To make a reservation we must have your flight number and flight arrival time in Funchal Airport. Funchal Airport,

Your car will be waiting for you! Look for our agent at the Arrivals with our sign!

An English Speaking representative will be at the airport to deliver your car to you! The representative will assist you complete the contract and payment procedures in the airport! ( Please note that payment can be done in CASH or by credit card). Just look for our sign on exiting the baggage hall.

Please ensure that you have available for inspection, the passport and a valid driver licence (must be at least 1 year old

Payments

We only deliver cars to addresses in the Funchal area / hotels and at pre-notified flight arrival times at Funchal Airport.

For any other area, an additional tax of 20 € on voucher when the car is delivered.

Reservations must be received no less than 48 hours in advance of your arrival time to guarantee a confirmed booking

When completing our reservations form, please do not forget to register your correct E-mail address in the field as without we cannot reply to you

Rental conditions

Minimum rental age: 23 years. Driver licence must be at least 1 year old.

All prices are per week

Rates and VAT are suject to change without previous notice General conditions shall apply

What prices include and what is not included:

Super CDW (full Coverage) included - that means that our clients do not have to pay any extra for the insurance.

Theft protection and unlimited kilometres.

VAT - All local taxes

Included Personal Accident Insurance is included in the price.

Airport tax is free for rentals for 7 days or more. For less then a week the airport tax fee is 20,00 euro per rental.

Additional drivers for your vehicle can be added to your rental contract for 11,50 € per rental, subject to provision of relevant driver licence and age - restrictions.

PS are provided on request for only 10,00 € per day with a maximum of value of 70 € / rental.

Baby seat / child seat / booster seat are provided on request for only 3.5 euro per day

Petrol/ diesel is not included.
